Kitchen Knives for Chefs and Cooks

Spend your money on very good kitchen knives.
You really only need two knives: a chef’s knife ( an 8 inch for a beginner) and a great paring knife.
The more you’ll cook the more you will be using a chef’s knife. Someone cooking often will find himself using a chef’s knife 90% of the time.
If you can afford a third knife, buy a cleaver.
Carbon knife are hard to maintain, look for a stainless steel knife.
Japanese knives are thinner and lighter and will maker easier for delicate slicing.
